Things That Go POP In The Night

The Haunted House attraction at the theme park had one REAL ghost, and she would hoard and pop just about every balloon she could find.  In a place that heavily advertised its balloons like this park did, the situation posed a serious problem.  Particularly for guests that were non-poppers, or wanted to pop their own balloons themselves.

Three exorcists, a team of paranormal-psychologists, and a small boy who could see dead people, all failed to drive the mostly-friendly, but stubborn spirit away.  Eventually though, the senior balloon vendor hit upon an idea, that was just crazy enough to work.

So now around Halloween, when the ghost shows herself, the park employees pre-fill her usual haunting grounds with tons of balloons ahead of time, mostly consisting of cheap decoration balloons, with repeated prints, or misprints.  The plan appeared to work; not caring about the size or quality of the balloons, the little ghost would merrily go about bursting the pre-made hoard of balloons to her contentment, leaving the rest of the park patrons alone.

...  But soon rumors of the balloon popping ghost began to go around, and curious guests, with their own balloons naturally, would try to get a glimpse of the spooky popper, and the predictable outcome still left many a park-goer demanding replacement balloons after all. :/

Oh well!  At least the sales were up.

I really wanted to get a ghost-girl picture done THIS year, since I was unable to get one done the previous Halloween.  I like how the "spooky" lighting effect turned out for me, but I feel maybe I should have spent more time on the balloon imprints too.  I just did not have enough time, what with Halloween being TODAY and all.
